Holding of the third steering committee of the Regional Innovation and Entrepreneurship Academic Division in Agritech

As part of the "Tamkin Li Tanmia" program funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), the third steering committee for the "Regional Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub in Agritech" project was successfully held on February 21, 2024, at the Euromed University of Fes Eco-campus.

This event brought together all of our partners, notably the AFD, the Digital Agriculture Academic Division, the Fès-Meknès Regional Investment Center, the IAV Institute, the Fès-Meknès Regional Council, the ENA, the ADD, the APEBI, FENAGRI, GreenOpenLab, and the Domaines Agricoles.

The main objective of this steering committee was to provide an update on the progress of the AGRITECH project. Participants had the opportunity to share their perspectives on the progress made so far and to explore the next steps. The session was followed by the signing ceremony of the partnership agreement, which formalizes the commitment and collaboration of the partners.

This committee offered the opportunity to introduce the Support Program for innovative project initiators to the partners. Furthermore, the inaugural conference for the call for projects is scheduled for March 7, 2024, at the Euromed University of Fes Eco-campus. By focusing on the specific agricultural challenges of the Fès-Meknès region, we will take the opportunity to further present the expectations for budding entrepreneurs.

In summary, this project steering committee was an important step in achieving the project's objectives, offering a valuable platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation for a strong ecosystem for Moroccan AgriTech.
