Holding of the third steering committee of the Regional Pole of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Agritech

As part of the “Tamkin Li Tanmia” program financed by the French Development Agency (AFD), the third steering committee of the “Regional Pole of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Agritech” project was successfully held on 21 February 2024 at the UEMF Eco-campus.
This event brought together all of our partners, in particular the AFD, the Digital Agriculture Pole, the Fès-Meknes Regional Investment Center, the IAV Institute, the Fès-Meknes Regional Council, the ENA, ADD, APEBI, FENAGRI, GreenOpenLab and Domaines Agricole.
The main objective of this steering committee was to provide an update on the progress of the AGRITECH project. Participants had the opportunity to share their perspectives on the progress made so far and explore next steps. The session was followed by the signing ceremony of the partnership agreement which formalizes the commitment and collaboration of the partners.
This committee offered the opportunity to introduce the Support program intended for initiators of innovative projects to partners. In addition, the inaugural conference of the call for projects is scheduled for March 7, 2024, within the UEMF eco-campus. By focusing on agricultural issues specific to the Fez-Meknes region, we will take the opportunity to further present the expectations of budding entrepreneurs.
In summary, this project steering committee was an important step in achieving the project objectives, providing a valuable platform for dialogue, collaboration and innovation for a strong ecosystem for Moroccan AgriTech.
