As part of the conference cycle organized by the Euromed University of Fez, Professor Philippe Tanguy was the guest this Wednesday, December 6 to discuss the role of hydrogen in the decarbonization of the economy.
Director of Strategy for the HTEC Group - Quebec, Associate Professor - Polytechnique Montréal and member of the Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Technologies, Pr. Tanguy presented the main global trends in the field of the green economy, particularly those linked to 'hydrogen.
The conference was an opportunity to highlight the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations to define the specific roles of engineering and technology in the field of renewable energy.
Professor Tanguy took the opportunity during this meeting to describe how we can build an economy with a low carbon footprint. He also outlined a set of practical resources and strategies that lead to low-carbon hydrogen.
This conference generated a constructive exchange which aligns harmoniously with the national strategy linked to climate change and the use of green energies, in which the university is strongly involved.
