EMADU is actively participating in the sixth edition of the annual international meeting of artists in Fez, Morocco. This edition addresses the subject of “Gentrification, Art and Cultural Heritage”. In collaboration with Fez Gathering, this edition focuses on how art is used to address current challenges of gentrification. This objective will be addressed through several discussion panels, artistic installations, performances and various activities, in the presence of Pr. Wafae Belarbi, Director of EMADU, Mr. Hamza El Fasiki, Artisan and Writer, Mr. Mohammed Hamdouni, PhD student-researcher and Mr. Philip Kojo Metz, Artist based in Germany.
Through the involvement of design and architecture students in several workshops, as well as the involvement of our permanent professors in round tables and workshops. This event is organized as part of the 6th edition of the Annual International Meeting of Artists of Fez from October 5 to 8, 2023 in the old medina of Fez.
