Dr. Abdelhak El Azzouzi, Chair of the Alliance of Civilizations, guest on the program "Al Khatt Al Akheer" on Abu Dhabi TV.

As part of the preparations for the "COP 28" events, to be held from November 30 to December 12, 2023 in the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Abdelhak Azzouzi, Chairholder of the Alliance of Civilizations Chair and member of the Board of Directors of the الجامعة الأورو-متوسطية بفاس (Euromed University of Fes), was hosted by the UAE's Abu Dhabi TV channel to discuss developments in global climate change.

During this meeting, Dr. Abdelhak Azzouzi pointed out the severity of the situation our planet is experiencing due to global warming resulting from gas emissions and environmental pollution, which threatens the future of the Earth on land and at sea.

He also emphasized the necessity for positive action and the implementation of proposals and recommendations that would help limit this phenomenon, taking the necessary measures, at both the national and international levels, to reduce the negative impacts resulting from climate change, similar to what countries like the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Morocco are doing, which are making strenuous efforts to develop the fields of renewable energy and green technologies.

In his intervention, Dr. Azzouzi stressed the importance of involving all stakeholders, especially the industrialized countries that contribute directly to the worsening of this environmental crisis, and proposing realistic solutions that would help mitigate carbon dioxide emission levels.
