THE FINALISTS OF THE EURO-MEDITERRANEAN INNOVATION BRIGADE: YOUR VOTE COUNTS

The Euro-Mediterranean Innovation Camp (EMIC) held its semi-final elimination round today, with 4 young "innovators" now advancing to the competition's final!

Over the past two months, the 6 pre-selected candidates were hosted either in the workshops of the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) and the Jožef Stefan Institute in Slovenia, or at the Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) in Morocco. There, they received technical assistance and mentorship from subject matter experts, experienced engineers, developers and product designers, as well as innovation specialists. Today, on the premises of EMUNI, candidates who were unable to present a functional prototype or validate that their future products are needed in the market were eliminated by a 3-member jury.

The 4 finalists are Georgios Paliouras (Greece), specializing in renewable energy, and Jihene Nouairi (Tunisia), Laila Mahmoud (Egypt), and Patricija Ham (Slovenia), specializing in environment and climate change.

They will participate in the EMIC final on June 8th during the celebration of EMUNI's 15th anniversary, presenting their prototypes to a live audience. The event will be broadcast live at the following address: and you can vote!
