UEMF stands out as the first Moroccan university in the "U-Multirank 2022" world university ranking.

The "U-Multirank 2022" world university ranking has just been unveiled. The Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) stands out as the top Moroccan university in this ranking, with Ibn Tofail University taking second place and Mohamed V University securing the third spot on the podium.

U-Multirank is a global ranking based on a multidimensional analysis of higher education institutions worldwide. It highlights quality and best performance in teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation, and regional engagement.

This year's ranking included universities from 96 countries around the world. On a continental level, the ranking is dominated by South African universities, but two Moroccan universities feature in the top 10 of ranked African universities: the Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) in 7th position and Ibn Tofail University in 8th position.

The year 2022 has been very prolific for the Euromed University of Fes, as it distinguished itself in several international rankings such as Times Higher Education, the Zairi International Award (first in the ranking of universities from 36 countries), the Professional Equality Excellence Award presented by the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills in partnership with UN-Women and the US Millennium Challenge Corporation, as well as the UN Green Gown Award for sustainable development.
