European sustainable investment in Morocco: subject of the round table held at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce at the initiative of RIEMAS

The Researh Institute for European, Mediterranean and African Studies (RIEMAS) of the Euromed University of Fez in partnership with the delegation of the European Union (EU) in Morocco, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Eurocham Maroc, organized a round table on the theme of European sustainable investment in Morocco. Thanks to the opinions of experts, research professors from Euromed Business School and economic players participating in this round table, rich discussions were discussed, in particular the contribution of investments in the energy sector as well as the opportunities offered by the adoption of the investment charter and the Green Partnership concluded between the EU and the Kingdom of Morocco.  

This meeting is a continuation of the work already started by RIEMAS, under the leadership of Professors Hicham Sebti and Hafsa El Bekri, aiming to develop studies capable of contributing to the socio-economic development of Morocco. Moreover, on this occasion, Pr. El Bekri, researcher at Euromed University in Fez, presented the results of a both quantitative and qualitative study that she conducted, relating to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). ) Europeans in Morocco who were interested in the perception of the investment framework in the Kingdom by European companies.
