The Research Institute for European, Mediterranean and African Studies (RIEMAS) of the Euromed University of Fes, in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Morocco, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Eurocham Morocco, organized a roundtable on the theme of sustainable European investment in Morocco. Thanks to the insights of experts, research professors from the Euromed Business School, and the economic stakeholders participating in this roundtable, rich discussions were held, notably on the contribution of investments in the energy sector and the opportunities offered by the adoption of the investment charter and the Green Partnership concluded between the EU and the Kingdom of Morocco.
This meeting is part of the ongoing work already initiated by RIEMAS, under the leadership of Professors Hicham Sebti and Hafsa El Bekri, aimed at developing studies that can contribute to the socio-economic development of Morocco. On this occasion, Prof. El Bekri, a researcher at the Euromed University of Fes, presented the results of a quantitative and qualitative study she conducted on European Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Morocco, which focused on the perception of the Kingdom's investment framework by European companies.
