The Euromed University of Fez organized the second edition of the Euromed Career Day on February 28, 2024, which was held within its UEMF Eco-campus.
A space for bringing together the professional and academic world, the Euromed University of Fez has brought together a significant number of companies and human resources professionals from different socio-economic and institutional backgrounds.
With the aim of promoting the professional integration of its young people and opening the doors to the job market for graduates, this edition saw the participation of a range of partner companies including Webhelp, Attijariwafa Bank and Bank of Africa, Alten, Jet Contractors, Cnexia, TMSA - TMA (Tanger Med) and Safran Aerosystems. This major event also saw the presence of ANAPEC, Rekrute, the Union of Health Devices and Products Professionals (SPDPS), TGCC, CGI and Huawei. During his opening speech, Professor Mostapha BOUSMINA recalled the importance of this meeting both for students of the University as well as for companies in search of talents and qualified skills having benefited from a solid, rich and diversified training curriculum, based on values that the University has instilled in them.
Aware of the challenges of the rise of technologies, the UEMF through this forum has created a space for reflection around the needs of the economic sphere linked to new technologies and digital.
Thus, this job fair, which also aims to bring together academic and economic players, started with a round table dealing with the theme: “Artificial intelligence at the service of the African employee”. A conference-debate in which Pr. Taoufik OUAZZANI CHAHDI, Vice-President of Academic and Cultural Affairs (UEMF), Mr. Mimoun CHIKHI, Regional Director (Webhelp), Ms. Salma KARIM, Head of Human Capital and Innovation Department took part (Digital Development Agency), Mr. Abdelali HAMMADI, Director of Digital Transformation (Agricultural Domains) and as moderator, Mr. Rachid ACHACHI, economist and consultant in geopolitics. A bridge between recruiters and job seekers, this day rich in interactions focused on various aspects such as meetings between students and employers, the exhibition hall dedicated to companies and workshops led by experts on Soft-Skills and Power-Skills in order to enable students and young graduates to align with the expectations of the job market.
This unique event in the diversity of its program also offered job seekers a framework conducive to exchanges via the establishment of stands of representatives of the invited companies giving the possibility of having individual interviews, depending on the recruitment needs previously defined by each entity.
This new edition allowed students and alumni of the Euromed University of Fez to attend coaching programs adapted to various profiles and answering the questions of future winners from training focused on professions in health, biotechnology, architecture, design, artificial intelligence, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, but also management and finance professions, as well as political and legal sciences and human and social sciences.
Students from the Euromed University of Fez, through this day, were able to discover the different aspects linked to the opportunities offered by companies and the selection criteria with a view to boosting their curriculum vitae to obtain jobs as well as internships and be located opposite the crossroads of applicants who responded to this forum marked by several activities and which was crowned with success.
