UEMF participates in the stakeholder meeting of the UfM's higher education sector

The President of the University, Prof. Mostapha BOUSMINA, participated this Friday, March 17, 2023, in the meeting of higher education stakeholders of the UfM, which brought together representatives from several higher education institutions and networks from the Euro-Mediterranean region.

During this meeting, Mr. BOUSMINA spoke about the achievements and challenges of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in the field of higher education since 2007 and the Euro-Med Cairo Declaration.

This meeting aims to present and discuss the results of the public consultation ahead of the 1st Union for the Mediterranean ministerial conference on higher education. The outcomes of the stakeholders' reflection and debate are expected to inform the declaration to be adopted at the UfM ministerial meeting in the last quarter of 2023. This event is co-organized by the Union for the Mediterranean and Casa Mediterráneo, in Alicante.
