Fruit of a partnership between the UEMF, the Council of the Fès-Meknes region, the Fès-Taza branch of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and the company Alten Delivery Center-Maroc, and largely co-financed by the Millennium Challenge Account-Morocco Agency (MCA-Morocco) via a contribution from the Sustainable Industrial Zones Fund (FONZID) up to nearly 50% of the cost of the project and the Fez-Meknes Region, the Fez Smart Factory project will give rise to the first 4.0 model factory in the Fez-Meknes region and in Morocco with 93 industrial lots intended for smart factories.
Guest of the program “Question Eco” on Medi1 TV, the president of the UEMF, Professor Mostapha Bousmina, underlined that this project aims to develop a sustainable industrial zone to meet the needs of improving industrial productivity and performance. environmental and social, by leveraging Industry 4.0 concepts.
