Euromed University of Fez presents at the African Council for Scientific Research and Innovation (ASRIC) Congress

As part of the 6th edition of the congress of the African Council for Scientific Research and Innovation (ASRIC) held between December 5 and 8 at the Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Technology in Rabat, the Euromed University of Fez was present among the 200 participants from different African countries through high-caliber researchers.

Chaired by Prof. Mostapha BOUSMINA, President of ASRIC, Chancellor of the Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Technology and President of the Euromed University of Fez, the work of the congress was also attended by Prof. Said EL KAZZOULI, Teacher-researcher at UEMF and Director of the School of Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology, who hosted a conference under the theme: “Development of treatments against coronaviruses”.

During this congress, the financial and technical contribution of the Euromed University of Fez was welcomed and greatly appreciated. The final communiqué of this event highlighted the actions undertaken by the UEMF in terms of implementation of the Covid-19 treatment project and the scholarship program for the benefit of sub-Saharan students. The Congress also called on major African universities to follow the example of the Euromed University of Fez by actively participating in the ASRIC scholarship program.

The scientific communications discussed during the congress mainly addressed the theme of this edition "Science, technology and innovation for development", in particular agriculture, health sciences, engineering sciences, human and social sciences as well as than the natural sciences.

In the same vein, it should be noted that the African Council for Scientific Research and Innovation plays a major role in the development of various policies in favor of African countries.
