Euromed University presents at the Economic Diplomacy seminar in Rabat

Pr. Hafsa El Bekri, teacher-researcher at Euromed Business School and co-director of the Research Institute for European, Mediterranean, and African Studies (RIEMAS), represented Euromed University of Fez during the seminar on Economic Diplomacy As a Lever of Regional Integration in the Euro-Mediterranean Region, organized on July 21 in Rabat, jointly by the Union for the Mediterranean and the Policy Center for the New South.
During this panel discussion, the following three major themes were addressed:
• The evolution towards coopetition strategies to attract more FDI to the region.
• The need for strategic monitoring tools for effective economic diplomacy in the region.
• Highlighting some revealing facts related to climate change and sustainable investment criteria.
This meeting was also an opportunity to discuss awareness of the new dynamics, challenges and opportunities for integration in the Mediterranean region and ways of developing the economy in the southern Mediterranean region.
