Euromed University of Fes present at the Economic Diplomacy seminar in Rabat

Prof. Hafsa El Bekri, a teacher-researcher at the Euromed Business School and co-director of the Research Institute for European, Mediterranean, and African Studies (RIEMAS), represented the Université Euromed de Fès at the seminar on Economic Diplomacy as a Lever for Regional Integration in the Euro-Mediterranean Region, organized on July 21 in Rabat, jointly by the Union for the Mediterranean and the Policy Center for the New South.

During this discussion panel, the following three major themes were addressed:
• The shift towards coopetition strategies to attract more FDI to the region.
• The need for strategic monitoring tools for effective economic diplomacy in the region.
• Highlighting some revealing facts related to climate change and sustainable investment criteria.

This meeting was also an opportunity to exchange views on raising awareness of new dynamics, the challenges and opportunities for integration in the Mediterranean region, and on means of developing the economy in the southern Mediterranean region.
