The UEMF hosts the 2nd edition of the “GLOBAL INDUSTRY 4.0 CONFERENCE”

Euromed University of Fez is today hosting the 2nd edition of the “Global Industry 4.0 Conference”, organized under the aegis of the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and the Green and Digital Economy ( MICEVN), in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the federation of information technologies, telecommunications and offshoring (APEBI), as well as several other federations and associations with an economic and industrial (Huawei supports the event as a Planinum Partner).

The kingdom's main university providing accredited programs in industry 4.0 skills, the Magazine Industrie du Maroc, organizer of this event, joined forces with the UEMF to bring together more than 15 experts from Germany, France , from Belgium, China, Japan and Canada. 

Presented in a hybrid format, in strict compliance with current health requirements, “Global Industry 4.0 Conference” aims to be a response to the concerns of manufacturers in the face of ongoing technological and digital changes. This edition will therefore provide the smartest solutions, in line with this particular context of Covid-19, a pandemic which has accelerated the digitalization process in industrial companies, and has pushed managers to be innovative by taking advantage of these disruptive technologies already tested in other places.

During this occasion, Pr. Mostapha Bousmina recalled the commitment of the UEMF to the contribution to the development of the technologies constituting industry 4.0, particularly through the training provided at the School of Digital Engineering and Intelligence. Artificial and the supervision of innovative project leaders in the first 4.0 factory in Africa on the “Fez Smart Factory” campus.
