Phosphorus dendrimers: examples of properties in catalysis, materials and biology

Conference cycle

Dr. Anne-Marie Caminade gave a conference on the theme Phosphorus dendrimers: examples of properties in catalysis, materials and biology , addressed to the entire doctoral and teaching staff of the Euromed Faculty of Engineering.

Anne-Marie Caminade is Director of Exceptional Class Research at the CNRS, in the Coordination Chemistry laboratory in Toulouse, where she is also Director of the “Dendrimers and hetero-chemistry” team.

She spent almost her entire scientific career in Toulouse, including 2 theses. She did a postdoc after each of her theses, the first at the French Petroleum Institute, near Paris, the other in Germany, where she obtained an Alexander von Humboldt research grant. His entire career has been devoted to the chemistry of Phosphorus, under different aspects, such as coordination chemistry, but especially phosphorus macromolecules, such as macrocycles and dendrimers. She is co-author of 480 publications, 53 book chapters, editor of 2 books on dendrimers and has an h index of 67 (more than 14,600 citations).
