The Euromed University of Fez welcomes Xavier Driencourt for a conference on his new work “Enigma of Algeria”

The Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) had the honor of receiving HE Mr. Xavier Driencourt , former Ambassador of France to Algeria, for an exceptional conference devoted to his latest book, Enigma of Algeria . The event, organized in the presence of the President of the UEMF, Prof. Mostapha Bousmina, as well as several vice-presidents and Research Professors, brought together an audience of enthusiasts of geopolitical issues and the contemporary history of Algeria.

The conference allowed Mr. Driencourt to deliver a deep and nuanced analysis of Algeria today, exploring the multiple facets of its political, economic and social history, as well as the country's future prospects. In his speech, he addressed the challenges facing contemporary Algeria.

UEMF executives and researchers enriched the debate by asking incisive questions and sharing multidisciplinary perspectives on the issues raised by the author. This discussion offered a comparative analysis of regional dynamics, consolidating the role of the UEMF as a platform for reflection on current issues in the Maghreb and the Mediterranean shores.

The event closed with a signing session, during which Mr. Driencourt spoke directly with the participants, offering everyone a special moment to discuss his work.
