The New Influence Wars in International Relations by Mr. Frédéric Charillon

A conference led by Mr. Frédéric CHARILLON, a university professor of political science, a political scientist specializing in international relations, and author of several works including the book "Guerres d’influence. Les États à la conquête des esprits" published in 2022.

During this meeting with students and teacher-researchers, Mr. CHARILLON addressed the subject of influence exerted by states through their strategies and policies, with long-term projects, to change perceptions and influence public opinion to serve the interests related to their international relations.

This conference also allowed the University's students to exchange with Mr. CHARILLON and to bring a fresh perspective on the different models of influence and on phenomena at work since the beginning of humanity through the prism of a new international context.
