Conference by Prof. Nourdin Yaakoubi from the acoustics laboratory of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs du Mans (ENSIM)

Hosted by the Euromed Polytechnic School and chaired by the Vice-Presidents, Prof. Safouane and Prof. Bounahmidi, the Euromed University of Fez received Professor Nourdin Yaakoubi from the acoustics laboratory of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs du Mans (ENSIM) which held a conference in 4 stages during which the following points were covered:
- Presentation of ENSIM and more specifically of its engineering sector in Acoustics and Instrumentation through its “Vibrations, acoustics” and “Sensors and instrumentation” courses.
- Progress of work relating to non-destructive testing (NDT) and presentation of the ECND Academy.
- Presentation of research projects on sensors and their applications mainly in the medical field.
- Student mobility opportunities.
A rich debate with the audience took place around developments relating to sensors and the areas of application of CND, particularly for works of art which could give rise to the launch in Morocco of executive training in this area, common to ENSIM and UEMF within the framework of the partnership agreement in force between the two institutions.
It was also agreed to share contact details of researchers on both sides to explore areas of common interest.
