Doctoral thesis defense in Artificial Intelligence by Mr. Abebaw Degu

The Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) is pleased to inform the public of the doctoral thesis defense in Artificial Intelligence. The thesis defense will take place on Saturday June 22, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at UEMF in the Great Hall of the Incubator. The thesis will be presented by Mr. Abebaw Degu WORKNEH, under the theme: "Synergizing Intelligence and Self-Improvement in Job Shop Scheduling for Smart Manufacturing".

Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez, Winning Bet on Future

The Euro-Mediterranean University headquarters in Fez, Morocco, has witnessed the opening of a branch allotted to activities of the Chair of Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) that called: “Women in Science: Artificial Intelligence and the Future” . The Euromed University of Fez has just signed an agreement with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, ISESCO, on May 17, 2021, for the creation of a Chair entitled “Women in Science'' and more particularly in the field of artificial intelligence. This chair is granted to Prof. Maha Gmira, a specialist in Artificial Intelligence and who did her doctoral thesis at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, one of the world centers of excellence in artificial intelligence.
