The ICESCO Chair “Women in Science: Artificial Intelligence and the Future” of the UEMF, the company ALTEN Maroc, the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) and the Fez-Meknes region are joining forces to ensure a training that is both fun and innovative in the field of Artificial Intelligence for more than 100 primary school girls in the provinces of Moulay Yacoub and Taounate on March 15 and 16.

Inspired by the approach already led by the Women in Sciences Chair, these workshops, called Coding Bootcamps , promote inclusion and initiation into the field of AI by encouraging young people to later pursue engineering studies. digital and artificial intelligence. Pr. Maha Gmira, chair holder, recognized expert in AI and teacher at the School of Digital Engineering and Artificial Intelligence of the UEMF is working to set up these training programs to involve students in various aspects of AI, such as robotics, modeling and simulation, gaming and machine learning.

During this edition, which will take place in the Fez-Meknes region, the company ALTEN Maroc as well as the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports are making a strong contribution by providing material and logistical support to this operation. Thanks to intelligent kits made up of 36 educational tablets provided by the said Ministry, and a donation of computers and IT equipment by the company ALTEN MAROC, students will be able to easily anchor the knowledge acquired during the Bootcamp by discovering the varied uses of digital technology. closer.
