Idea Development with Design Thinking: theme of the MUnIE workshop

The Euromed Engineering School BiomedTech (EIB ) and the Euromed Institute of Technology (EIT) are organizing on January 12, 13, 14 and January 19 and 20, 2021 with their German partner, the University of Koblenz-Landau , a online workshop on design thinking under the theme “Idea Development with Design Thinking”, accessible from this link .
Indeed, the culture of project-based learning, continuous innovation and action research constitutes one of the major pillars of the Euromed University of Fez, which aims to train future leaders equipped with critical thinking and constructive . In this context, it becomes necessary to develop a mode of co-creative thinking which involves the implementation of a global collaborative design approach using techniques and methods as diverse as design thinking, brainstorming, brainwriting or speedstorming again.
These methods and tools will be presented during the workshop to participants who will work in teams on various projects using these rich teaching techniques which, subsequently supplemented by physical business modeling spaces, will de facto stimulate innovation through ideation, pretotyping and prototyping using ad hoc processes.
Ultimately, the collaboration with the University of Koblenz-Landau will allow the UEMF to experiment with new modes and methods of operation .
