7th edition of the “Fez Gathering” at the UEMF

The Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) had the privilege of hosting the 7th edition of the “Fez Gathering”, an artistic and cultural event of international scope which places water at the center of debates on urban sustainability. Organized by the Euromed School of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning (EMADU), this meeting made it possible to explore the challenges of water management, by bringing together artists, researchers and experts around innovative solutions to make facing water stress.
Through rich discussions and inspiring screenings, the event highlighted the central role of art in raising awareness of environmental challenges. Participants notably revisited the history and ingenuity of traditional water management systems in the city of Fez, while addressing modern means to preserve this precious resource in the face of current climate challenges.
The UEMF thus reaffirms its commitment to transdisciplinary education, integrating art, culture and science, to promote sustainable practices and strengthen environmental awareness in Moroccan society.
