7th edition of the "Fez Gathering" at Euromed University of Fes

Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) had the privilege of hosting the 7th edition of the "Fez Gathering," a major international artistic and cultural event that places water at the center of debates on urban sustainability. Organized by the Euromed School of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning (EMADU), this gathering explored the challenges of water management, bringing together artists, researchers, and experts around innovative solutions to address water stress.

Through rich discussions and inspiring projections, the event highlighted the central role of art in raising awareness of environmental challenges. Participants notably revisited the history and ingenuity of the traditional water management systems of the city of Fez, while also addressing modern means of preserving this precious resource in the face of current climate issues.

UEMF thus reaffirms its commitment to a transdisciplinary education, integrating art, culture, and science, to promote sustainable practices and strengthen environmental awareness in Moroccan society.
