Workshop "Open-air workshop" at riad Lalla Yeddouna

Accompanied by professors from the Euromed School of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning (EMADU) and those from the Department of Architecture (Dipartimento di Architettura "DIDA") of the University of Florence (Università degli Studi di Firenze) , students from the Architecture sector and the Design sector, together with students from the Training and Qualification Center in Craft Professions (Cfqma Fez), started their first workshop at the Maison des Savoirs des Métiers de l Crafts at Riad Lalla Yeddouna, according to the “open-air workshop” formula.
Sixteen groups presented their projects relating to the development of public spaces in the medina of Fez, with the aim of giving them a new lease of life based on ancestral know-how, while maintaining a contemporary outlook.
It is a real challenge that the sixteen groups took on during the closing in the presence of a Jury, this Friday, December 6, 2019.
The program of the next workshops of EMADU, establishment of the Euromed University of Fez, will be communicated to you gradually.
