Educational visit to the Al Wahda Dam, currently the largest hydraulic infrastructure in the Kingdom

First-year civil engineering students from the Euromed Polytechnic School, accompanied by their professor Mr. Issam Al Korachi, conducted an educational visit to the Al Wahda Dam, currently the largest hydraulic infrastructure in the Kingdom, on May 6, 2023.

The students received detailed explanations from Mr. Kassemi, an engineer at the Sebou Hydraulic Basin Agency, and Mr. Tantaoui, the dam manager. These covered the type and structure of the development, the nature of the hydroelectric station, as well as the operating principle of the dam's ancillary structures, such as the spillways and gates.
