Talking about democracy was on the agenda, so this exchange aimed to answer students' questions about European democratic construction and its future. Mr. Dotto clarified during his speech that the EU has adapted its objectives to support civil society organizations in countries in transition and promote citizen engagement in order to create conditions conducive to the inclusion of civil society in political dialogue. This visit underlines the EU's interest in the intellectual capacities of young people in the UEMF.

A meeting was held in parallel with Ms. Lise Paté to present the collaboration projects between the two institutions currently underway, in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Mostapha Bousmina.
