Pr. Mostapha Bousmina, President of the Université Euromed de Fès (UEMF), today received His Excellency Mr. El Mokhtar GHAMBOU, Former Ambassador of Morocco to Kenya, accompanied by Dr. Toyin Ajao (Nigeria), a thinker, feminist activist, and holistic researcher; Mrs. Munira Hussein (Ethiopia), a writer and author; and Mr. Tony Mochama (Kenya), a lawyer, writer, and cultural journalist.

This visit is part of the strategy deployed by UEMF to strengthen and develop collaborative relations with institutions in Sub-Saharan African countries, particularly English-speaking ones.

During this meeting, which began with a presentation by the President of UEMF, Pr. Mostapha Bousmina, concerning the University's missions to promote intercultural dialogue, exchange, and cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean—with a natural extension towards Sub-Saharan Africa—in perfect resonance with the irreversible trajectory undertaken by our country under the enlightened and humanistic leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him.

The President of UEMF also highlighted the University's role in the region in promoting scientific research and innovation through the various scholarships granted to students from Sub-Saharan Africa, recalling that UEMF is a growing center of excellence in teaching and research with over 2,500 students from more than 40 different nationalities.

Furthermore, Pr. Bousmina emphasized the diversity of the University's teaching and research programs, as well as the values imparted to students regarding tolerance, living together, respect for human rights, freedoms, and democratic values.
