Euromed University of Fez participates in the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE – DEVPORT

After the success of the first three editions, the DEVPORT team organized a fourth event on October 4 and 5, 2023 on the theme of territorial ports. The University of Le Havre Normandie therefore organized a multidisciplinary conference around the theme: “DEVPORT - What place for territorial ports in the maritime system of tomorrow? ". The objective of this event is to compare the different disciplinary approaches referring to this theme of maritime activity at the international level.
During the work of this conference, Pr. Hasna SLAMTI, Teacher Researcher at the Euromed University of Fez, presented the role of secondary ports as a vector of regional development in Morocco. It aimed to highlight the progress recorded in Morocco on the geopolitical and economic level concerning maritime ports since the advent of the reign of King Mohamed VI. Ms. SLAMTI also insisted on the policy of creating new specialized ports in Morocco in parallel with the development of existing ports.
