Congresses and conferences
In its new edition, under the trajectory of the African Studies meetings in France, the University of Nice-Côte d'Azur organized on its Jean d'Angely campus, from July 1 to 4, an international conference under the theme: A race to ports in Africa? Actors, territories and strategies.
During this 8th edition of the Rencontres des Etudes Africaines in France, Professor Slamti led a communication entitled: “Territorial issues facing the challenges of connectivity in Africa: case of the port of Tangier Med” during her participation in panel 37 entitled “A race for ports in Africa? Actors, territories and strategies”.
Also, this communication aimed to lift the veil on the logistical and geopolitical interest of the Tanger Med port. She also tried to show that this port is not only a global logistics and maritime hub, but also an essential engine of economic and territorial development.
