Conference at the UEMF: Art therapies and Cultural Inclusion with ICESCO

The Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) had the honor of hosting the conference “ Thinkers of the World invited to ICESCO ”, bringing together international experts in art therapy and music therapy. This event, organized in partnership with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), addressed critical issues around arts therapy, cultural inclusion and the rights of people in disability situation.
Among the speakers present were renowned personalities such as Professor Emeritus Edith Lecourt, pioneer in music therapy and founder of university programs in art therapy, as well as André Fertier, fervent defender of cultural rights. The program included conferences and lively debates, focusing in particular on training methods in art therapies, music therapy as cultural therapy, and the importance of guaranteeing access to artistic culture for all.
The event, which took place in the premises of the UEMF before continuing in Rabat, demonstrates the commitment of the Euromed University of Fez to the promotion of inclusive culture and well-being through arts.
