Communicating without estimating the weight of words risks having an effect contrary to that expected. Instead of overcoming critical economic, social or health situations, the comments made can lead to doubt and procrastination. To overcome this situation, communication specialists, philosophers and researchers are opting for positive speeches to reassure and restore economies in crisis. This is what Dr Camélia Kerkour, teacher-researcher at the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez, has just achieved by publishing a study on the need to exchange differently in times of coronavirus. Its aim is to explain that preventive measures, necessary to neutralize the spread of the virus, are not without consequences.
