Teaching extends over six semesters with transversal modules and specific modules described as follows:

Introduction to the Profession and the National Health System, the Practical Approach
Humanities and Social Sciences ;
Biological sciences (anatomo-physiology; Immuno-histology; microbiology; pharmacology, bio-cellular);
Anatomy-physiology;
Biochemistry: structural and bioenergetic;
Clinical and metabolic biochemistry;
General chemistry and analytical chemistry;
Human nutrition;
Foundations of clinical practice in nutrition;
Collective catering;
Culinary techniques and dietary cooking;
Food concepts and dietary thinking;
Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition;
Quality assurance and food legislation;
Athlete's diet;
Internships in culinary techniques and healthy cooking; in surgical medicine services; in pediatrics; in public collective catering and hospitals; in intensive care and palliative care

Take stock of the patient's nutritional status then decide on the menus to adopt to lose or gain weight depending on the pathology;
Provide nutritional advice, upon medical prescription;
Participate in the education and nutritional re-education of patients with metabolic disorders by establishing a personalized dietary assessment and appropriate dietary education.

Faculty of Nursing Sciences and Health Technologies

Contribute to the definition, evaluation and control of the quality of food served in the community, as well as to public health prevention activities in the field of nutrition;
Ensure compliance with health rules when storing food and preparing meals;
Ensure self-training and improve your professional practice to be in tune with cutting-edge techniques used in nutrition and dietetics.

Access to the training is open to holders of a scientific baccalaureate or a recognized equivalent diploma who have passed a pre-selection, a written test and a motivational interview.

The Degree in Dietetics-Nutrition offers numerous opportunities in hospitals, polyclinics and specialized clinics, sports clubs and fitness rooms, food companies, company restaurants and also in the liberal world.

It also allows academic progression towards a master's degree then a doctorate in nutrition-dietetics.
