State engineer
Diploma awarded
: State engineerDuration of studies
: 3 yearsCoordinator
: Pr. Anouar EL MAGRI, Pr. Hajar AKHZOUZ, Pr. Khalil EL MABROUKThe training program, meeting the standards required by the Ministry, is both theoretical and practical while being multidisciplinary.
On the one hand, it aims for the student to acquire the knowledge essential to understanding the profession of civil engineer.
On the other hand, it promotes the learner's mastery of the impulse devices and management of the related logical systems. Three options are offered in the final year of the civil engineering cycle:
- Building and Energy;
- Infrastructures and Hydraulic Works;
- Transport and Urban Planning.

The civil engineering training at Euromed Polytechnic School aims to give engineering students the scientific knowledge and technical skills enabling them to know how to explain, negotiate and debate to arrive at the most appropriate technical solutions.
It works to graduate high-level design and construction engineers, capable of mastering the complexity of projects in a multidisciplinary approach which takes into account a multitude of technical, environmental, economic and socio-cultural constraints in the territories on which they will be called upon to intervene.
Euromed Polytechnic School (EPS)
- Skills in applied sciences, modeling and optimization, applied physics and materials;
- Technical skills: bridges and roads, buildings, applied hydraulics (hydrology, hydrogeology, urban hydraulics and sanitation), dams, environmental engineering, building energy, mobility and transport;
- Managerial skills: project management, quality management, sustainable development, technology management and entrepreneurship;
- Language skills (French, English, Spanish), communication and Euro-Mediterranean culture.
Access to the 1st year of the civil engineering cycle is open:
Automatically:
- Students who have completed the 2 integrated preparatory years of Euromed Polytechnic School;
- Students in scientific preparatory classes eligible for the Common National Competition or equivalent.
By competitive examination and interview:
- Students who have completed the two preparatory years integrated into an engineering cycle different from that of the Euromed Polytechnic School;
- Students who have passed the first three post-baccalaureate years in science, science and technology or technology with at least a fairly good grade.
For this category, the selection is made on the basis of:
- Results obtained at the baccalaureate;
- Results obtained in the post-baccalaureate years;
- Technical and motivational interview.
- Materials resistance and structural mechanics laboratory.
- Geotechnical and soil mechanics laboratory.
- Roads and traffic lanes laboratory.
- Additive manufacturing laboratory, equipped, among other things, with a 3D concrete-mortar machine.
- Hydraulics and fluid mechanics laboratory.
Main sectors of activity:
Buildings, public works, real estate development, engineering works, maritime works, various works, management of large projects, transport, RID (research, innovation and development).
Professions concerned:
Design engineers in buildings, infrastructure and structures;
Quality control engineers;
Transportation engineers;
Traffic manager;
Manager of major projects and OPC (Scheduling, Management and Coordination);
Research engineers;
Laboratory engineers;
In the long term : leaders and CEOs of companies.
