the creation of this architecture sector is amply justified, given the socio-economic and urban planning challenges facing our country in particular and the Euro-Mediterranean area in general:
the urban dynamics and the economic and socio-spatial changes that this region is experiencing require mastery of urban space for the creation of sustainable environments, widely open to modernity, economic globalization, progress and human development;
real estate programs and construction projects, more numerous, more complex, more diversified and increasingly large-scale, require qualified architectural project management in sufficient numbers;
the requirements of sustainable development and the consideration of environmental constraints require an upgrade of architectural techniques that respect the environment and ecology (new design of buildings, new techniques to reduce the energy needs of buildings, new materials…);
national programs for the rehabilitation of architectural heritage and the safeguarding of historical monuments in Morocco and other countries in the Euro-Mediterranean area require qualified specialists in sufficient numbers.
the diploma to which this architect diploma course leads will benefit from Moroccan recognition and accreditation.
the target objectives:
provide quality education to international standards, through a partnership with international schools and institutes of architecture, particularly Euro-Mediterranean;
offer a favorable working environment and effective methods for the optimal acquisition of knowledge, knowledge and know-how, necessary for the profession of architect, particularly through work in laboratories;
enable the acquisition of multidisciplinary techniques relating to building, as well as new construction technologies;
introduce the student-architect to the methodology of reflection, the analytical approach, critical thinking and stimulate in them creativity, innovation, artistic sensitivity and the confrontation of ideas;
allow an open mind, an ability to adapt and a large degree of autonomy in the student-architect;
work for respect for heritage and the environment, urban and landscape integration and develop the student-architect's awareness of the demands of society, individual and collective well-being;
promote professional expertise in the field of architecture, disseminate knowledge and promote the quality of architectural and urban production.
