Research-innovation in the service of society is one of the major pillars of the University. The vast majority of UEMF professors are teacher-researchers and their career development is largely based on their scientific production.
UEMF has a very high-level research infrastructure and certain facilities are unique in Morocco such as the additive manufacturing platform (3D printing) , the digital platform , etc.
UEMF is currently the Moroccan University which has the most important research contracts with the socio-economic world including the sectors of aeronautics, automobile, renewable energies, agro-industry, digital, biomedical , territorial planning, cultural heritage and the issues of the Euro-Mediterranean-Africa area.
Research within the UEMF is carried out by highly qualified teacher-researchers recognized for their scientific production , and by doctoral students and post-doctoral students of different nationalities.
