Contribute to the development of the UEMF health center through academic training that meets local, national and regional socio-economic needs.

Train a pharmacist adapted to their environment and capable of working effectively for the well-being of the community in the field of health and pharmacy.

Specific objectives :

• Provide quality education in accordance with international standards, through a partnership with health faculties and institutions, particularly Euro-Mediterranean;
• Provide a favorable working environment and effective methods for the optimal acquisition of knowledge, knowledge and know-how, necessary for the profession of pharmacist;
• Enable the acquisition of multidisciplinary techniques relating to health professions, as well as new technologies in Biology;
• Introduce the future pharmacist to the methodology of reflection, the analytical approach, critical thinking and stimulate creativity, innovation, the confrontation of ideas and social responsibility;
• Allow an open mind, an ability to adapt and a large degree of autonomy and a sense of decision-making in the future pharmacist;
• Develop quality research, promote professional expertise in the field of health sciences and related professions;
• Disseminate knowledge and promote pharmacy professions.

Entrance exam to first year Pharmacy

1 - Prerequisites and selection procedure:

Access to the first year of pharmacy studies is by competitive examination. It is open to holders of a scientific baccalaureate (PC, Mathematics, SVT, S, or equivalent) or a diploma recognized as equivalent, satisfying the admission criteria and prerequisites in accordance with the provisions of the regulatory texts in force, within the limits of the Available seats.

Access arrangements are made in accordance with the annual ministerial circular note.

2 - Selection procedures:

The pre-selection procedure includes file study (Pre-selection)

Foreign candidates can be admitted under the same conditions of eligibility of their diplomas and after study of their file.

3 - Conduct of the competition:

The competition consists of the following four events:

• Natural Sciences (Life and Earth Sciences)
• Chemistry
• Physical
• Mathematics

Entrance exam to third year Pharmacy (Passerelle)

1 - Prerequisites:

Access to the 3rd year of pharmaceutical studies at the Euromed Faculty of Pharmacy for each academic year 2023 – 2024 is open to candidates holding a Bac+2 diploma in the following disciplines:

• Diploma of General University Studies (DEUG): specialty Life Sciences (SV), Earth and Universe Sciences (STU),
• Diploma of General University Studies (DEUG): specialty in Life and Earth Sciences (SVT), Chemistry – Biology (CB)
• Diploma of Scientific and Technical University Studies (DEUST): specialty Biology – Chemistry – Geology (BCG)
• Scientific University Studies Certificate (CEUS): life and earth sciences.
• Preparatory Classes for Grandes Ecoles: Biology – Chemistry – Physics – Life and Earth Sciences.

2 - Selection procedure:

• Pre-registration plus pre-selection on the basis of the general average of marks obtained in (CUES or DEUG) in particular, in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and biochemistry.
• Only candidates selected on the basis of pre-selection are authorized to take the written tests of the competition.
• The results of the preselection are declared and an individual invitation is sent to those interested to take part in the competition.

3 - Conduct of the competition:

The competition takes place in two phases:

- A pre-selection based on the study of the file,

- Written tests covering the following subjects:

• Biology (Coef 3),
• Chemistry-Biochemistry (Coef 3)
• Physics (Coef 1).

The subjects of the competition are chosen from the program of the first and second year of the general studies diploma (DEUG), life sciences (SV), Earth and universe (STU).

Registrations begin around the beginning of the second week of June and the competition takes place in September.

Application file:

• Copy of Identity Document (CIN or Passport)
• Copy of baccalaureate diploma.
• Copy of the Diploma (bac + 2) or certificate of successful completion of the diploma.
• Transcripts for the two years after the baccalaureate.
• Certified copy of the baccalaureate transcript.
• Application request form to download from the platform, complete and sign.

The Euromed Faculty of Pharmacy has practical work laboratories and scientific research laboratories equipped with the necessary equipment for the smooth running of educational and scientific research activities in the fields of health sciences.

Trained pharmacists will be able to exercise their talents in both the public and private sectors and in different fields:

• Pharmacy,
• Medical biology analysis laboratories.
• Establishments in the pharmaceutical sector: industry and wholesale,
• Health product companies: medical devices, reagents, food supplements, cosmetics,
• Other sectors: cosmetics, agri-food,
• Public sector: central (DMP, LNCM) and peripheral administration, hospitals, institutes (Institut Pasteur du Maroc, National Institute of Hygiene, National Antipoison and Pharmacovigilance Center, etc.) 
• Their exercise can be done in different forms:
• Management, 
• Research and development,
• Quality control and assurance,
• Production,
• Marketing, sales,
• Regulatory.
