The Biotechnology Engineering program, offered by EUROMED University will provide students with in-depth knowledge in biological sciences and technologies and transferable expertise and skills in a rapidly expanding field; economic and technological. This program offers a concentration in Biomolecular Engineering and Drug Development which will benefit students pursuing a career in biological engineering, or in the following industries: pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food processing.
The objectives of the biotechnology engineering cycle program are as follows:
- Ability to apply critical analyzes to solve problems at the interface of science, medicine and engineering;
- An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data;
- An understanding of the principles of modern biology and the ability to apply the principles of science, engineering and mathematics;
- In-depth training in biological sciences which will allow them to take informed and ethical steps and to fully understand the role of the biotechnology engineer in society.
- Also, graduates will be able to effectively communicate their work and ideas, and they will be prepared to succeed in their professional and/or academic careers.
- An acquisition of an ability to use modern biological engineering techniques, skills and tools necessary for the practice of biotechnology;
- Knowledge of contemporary issues in bioengineering and associated disciplines;
- An ability to design and produce biomolecules and biomolecular systems to meet a desired need;
- An ability to function within multidisciplinary teams;
- An ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems;
- An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility;
- An ability to communicate effectively;
- a recognition of the need and ability to engage in lifelong learning.
BiomedTech engineering school
This program will enable its students to acquire deep fundamental knowledge and solid practical skills in biotechnologies and associated disciplines such as:
- The design, development, simulation and manufacturing of therapeutic biomolecules.
- The design, development, simulation and modification of living cells.
- Mastery of Omics analysis tools and instruments.
- Knowledge of international regulatory aspects.
- The ability to manage and design biotechnology startups.
Access to the biotechnology engineering cycle is reserved, after an entrance exam, for students:
- preparatory classes in biomedical and biotechnological engineering,
- preparatory classes for national engineering schools, or
- having a DEUG, DEUST and DUT in life sciences, mathematics/computer science, physics/chemistry, or equivalent
EI -BIOMEDTECH has practical work and research laboratories equipped with international standard equipment in the fields of biomedical and biotechnological sciences.

CLOSER TO BUSINESSES AND EMPLOYMENT
Graduates will be qualified to:
- Engineering careers in the pharmaceutical (production, regulation, research) or cosmetics industries, research laboratories or designers of biomedical instruments.
- Careers in industry or bioengineering or a related field;
- studies (M.Sc. and Ph. D/doctorate in programs related to biotechnology engineering),
- An entrepreneurial career through innovative projects in the fields of biotechnology which will be incubated in structures available at the EUROMED University of Fez.
