Semester 4: Basics of Molecular Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Physics 3, Biomaterials and Biocompatibility, Bioinformatics Analysis 1, Languages 4.
One of the objectives of this training is to move each student from a school spirit to an engineering mindset. During these two years, the student will receive education with the following objectives:
The acquisition of basic, scientific and technical knowledge, as well as that of languages, communication and general culture.
Strengthening team spirit and the spirit of autonomy.
Teaching methodological tools and know-how
Introduction to biomedical engineering professions.
The training will take place over 4 semesters of 6 modules each, i.e. an average of 406 hours of teaching per semester. The educational organization will allow progressive monitoring of the student over the 2 years to ensure good orientation in one of the different sectors of the engineering cycles, or towards fields of life sciences or biological engineering .
BiomedTech engineering school
These two preparatory years are based on courses, tutorials, practical work and practical activities allowing the student to develop integrated knowledge, which will allow them to easily integrate into educational experiences and future research. At the end of these two preparatory years, students will have knowledge in the basic disciplinary fields of science and technology, as well as basic methodological, computer and technical tools in relation to biological, pharmaceutical, biomedical and medical sciences. The introduction of advanced computer science and computer-aided conceptualization (CAD) modules, as well as equally advanced physics modules, will constitute, with the other modules, a foundation for the engineering cycles.
During these two preparatory years, students must demonstrate a great passion for work, organization, analysis and synthesis, as well as excellent conceptualization skills. They also have a solid source of general culture and Euro-Mediterranean culture.
