The French Institute of Fes and the Euromed University of Fes strengthen their partnership

As part of strengthening Franco-Moroccan relations in academic and cultural fields, the Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) welcomed Ms. Carine Foeller Viallon, Consul General of France in Fes and Director of the Institut Français de Fès, accompanied by a delegation from the Institut Français de Fès. The delegation was received by the President of UEMF, Prof. Mostapha Bousmina, on the occasion of the official renewal of the collaboration agreement between the two institutions.

This renewed agreement reflects the shared commitment to promoting Franco-Moroccan intercultural dialogue through the strengthening of language teaching with certification via UEMF's dedicated language center. In partnership with the Institut Français, certified courses aimed at developing students' language skills as well as meeting the needs of the professional world are offered. This collaboration also covers a joint cultural program: The two institutions will collaborate to organize cultural activities for the university community and the general public.

Thanks to its infrastructure, UEMF stands out as a key partner. Among these facilities is an agora capable of hosting up to 2000 people for major conferences and events, as well as a theater and a cinema currently under construction, which will enrich this diverse cultural offering.

By renewing this partnership, UEMF and the Institut Français de Fès reaffirm their commitment to building bridges between cultures and contributing to the prominence of Franco-Moroccan cooperation through education, culture, and openness to the world. This meeting symbolizes a lasting dynamic in service to the university community and the inhabitants of the region.
