Hackathon Ramadan AI: Three Days of Innovation Serving Communities

Euromed University of Fes hosted the Ramadan AI Hackathon, a national initiative led by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, deployed across all twelve regions of the Kingdom, including the Fes-Meknes region.

This event brought together students, young professionals, project leaders, and entrepreneurs around a common goal: to design innovative solutions based on artificial intelligence to address concrete local challenges, following a responsible innovation approach.

Over three days, participants worked in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, conducive to transforming ideas into structured projects. Guided by mentors, they were able to refine their thinking, consolidate their approaches, and develop prototypes to tackle the identified issues.

The final day was dedicated to preparing presentations, followed by pitching sessions before a jury. This step allowed the teams to showcase their solutions, exchange with experts, and benefit from constructive feedback for the development of their projects.

Beyond the competitive aspect, this hackathon served as a space for learning, experimentation, and co-creation, contributing to strengthening participants' skills and promoting an artificial intelligence dedicated to development and the public interest.
