The UEMF obtains the Responsible Innovation Label during its first 2020/2021 edition
The Responsible Innovation Label is intended for higher education and research establishments, private or public, members of the AUF throughout the world. Its objective is twofold: to map and promote responsible innovations from French-speaking university establishments around the world, but also to deploy the responsible innovation network to promote synergies between universities, civil society and the socio-economic sector working for the development of a responsible company.

Pr. Salim BOUNOU, Vice-President of Academic Cooperation and International Relations and Dean of the Euromed Faculty of Pharmacy participated in a conference under the theme of “Challenges for a Global Higher Education: Digitalization, Open Science, and Bioethics” organized by PIConf 2021, on October 29 and 30, 2021 in the Republic of Malta.

Led by Mr. Mamadou KANE, Consultant Trainer in Culture and Tourism at the association of cultural and religious tourism stakeholders - Senegal, accompanied by the moderators of the said association, the conference around "Cultural and religious tourism: resources, issues and perspectives" took place at the UEMF in the presence of students and professors of the University.

The societal change that has been taking place for several years now, combined with the repercussions of the health crisis and accentuated by the entry into the professional world of generation Y, questions the ideal positioning of the cursor for the right degree of autonomy and responsibility to be allocated to the teams.
Several questions arise: What if teams no longer focused on their know-how? How are decisions made to explore an idea, a concept? What about resources? How to mitigate risks related to innovation processes?

Pr. Bounou Salim and his team composed of professors El Kazzouli Said and Anissi Jaouad participated in the first edition of the ADVANCED COURSE ON CANCER BIOLOGY AND THERAPY organized by the Cancer Research Institute (IRC) and the Higher Institute of Biological and Paramedical Sciences (ISSB-P) of Benguerir, and which took place from October 20 to 23, 2021 in Marrakech.
The course is aimed at clinical oncologists, hematologists, radiotherapists, pathologists, pharmacists and biologists interested in molecular oncology.
The main objective was to offer an updated course on oncology and new therapeutic approaches by international and national speakers specializing in the field of precision oncology and molecular mechanisms.
