Professor Mostapha Bousmina, chancellor of the Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Technology and president of the Euromed University of Fez, was elected this November 24, 2021, in Nairobi, Kenya with an overwhelming majority, president of the African Council for Science and Technology. of Research and Innovation (ASRIC) which comes under the African Union (AU).

UEMF and the World Bank co-organize a conference on climate change: challenges for the Fez-Meknes region

The EuroMed University of Fez and the World Bank organized a conference-debate entitled: “Climate Change: Challenges for the Fez-Meknes Region”, with the participation of Mr. Mostapha Bousmina, President of the EuroMed University of Fez; Mr. Ferid Belhaj, MENA Vice President for the World Bank. This event made it possible to collect from key players in the Fès-Meknes Region their perspectives on the challenges posed by climate change but also their recommendations for actions to be implemented locally to help anchor the region in a trajectory resilient and sustainable development.

UEMF was selected as a member of the international consortium for gender equality on its campus

The UEMF was selected following an international call for tenders to be a member of the international consortium of eleven French-speaking establishments which will work to achieve gender equality on their campuses.
The aim of the consortium is to “Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls”. The functioning of the consortium is collaborative and participatory, and focused on notions of sharing and pooling. The work will take place over one year, from June 2021 to June 2022.
