World Order and International Organizations in the Face of Conflicts and Humanitarian Crises: An Analysis of Their Effectiveness and Limitations in the Current International Context

Brief Description:
It is well known that international organizations, established in the aftermath of the Second World War, have the vocation and mission of safeguarding peace between states. However, given the proliferation of conflicts tearing apart various regions across all five continents without finding a genuine, lasting solution, it is important to question the ineffectiveness of these organizations and the flaws in the order they are supposed to preserve and promote. At the same time, it will be necessary to consider how to analyze these dysfunctions, through which lenses, and on the basis of which frameworks. Is it not time to rethink the foundations of geopolitics and international law?
