As part of their commitment to the objectives of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) and the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) agree to enter into a strategic alliance to promote the flow of knowledge between the shores of the Mediterranean and cooperate within the framework of this agreement. They will encourage long-term mutual cooperation in the fields of higher education, research and innovation in order to consolidate the Barcelona Process, which, in the broad sense, is also integrated into the Union for the Mediterranean.
The Parties will promote the dissemination of knowledge through joint educational, cultural and scientific activities. To this end, they will use instruments such as joint application and implementation of international projects of a scientific and technical nature, the development and implementation of double or joint study programs, and the exchange of students and academic staff. and administrative. Other initiatives will include the exchange of expert and researcher missions, the development of modules in Euro-Mediterranean studies and the launch of strategic courses. They will also engage in science diplomacy, the expansion of joint academic offerings, the organization of scientific events and the joint use of educational and scientific resources, as well as any other cooperative activities agreed by the parties.
