Introduction
Created in November 2019, the Research Institute for European, Mediterranean, and African Studies (RIEMAS) is the think tank of the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF). RIEMAS is a platform for exchanges, reflection and proposals dedicated to the strategic issues of the Euro-Mediterranean and African zone. In this sense, it is fully in line with the mission of the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) to contribute to the development and strengthening of regional integration by promoting intercultural dialogue, exchange and academic partnerships and cultural in the Euro-Mediterranean area.
Nourished by the values of the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) - openness, dialogue, tolerance, promotion of living together, balance and moderation and intellectual rigor - as well as by collaborations with regional and international partners, the work of researchers and experts associated with RIEMAS aim to enrich knowledge and debates on EuroMed-Africa regional issues, formulate proposals to public authorities as well as all stakeholders in regional cooperation and strengthen the vision of the South on regional issues.
The reflections developed within the framework of RIEMAS address as a priority the issues and challenges of the Euro-Mediterranean and African zone:

The work of the researchers and experts associated with RIEMAS are distributed in the formats of working papers, review papers, policy papers, policy briefs, communications, media forums and books.
An open platform, RIEMAS is also enriched with contributions from experts and regional “major signatures”.
RIEMAS organizes various events including the RIEMAS Workshop Series, the RIEMAS Round Tables, the RIEMAS Tuesday Talks, the RIEMAS Webinars as well as the “Fez Strategic Forum” - aiming to promote exchanges and dialogue between regional actors.
