The mandate of the Chancellor is four years, renewable by the Board of Directors.
In the event of death, inability to exercise his functions or when the Orientation, Surveillance and Development Council decides to appoint a new Chancellor, this proposal is subject to the approval of His Majesty The King, President of 'Honor of the Euromed University of Fez. The Chancellor is responsible for:
- chair the meetings of the ordinary and extraordinary General Assembly and the Orientation, Surveillance and Development Council;
- convene the general assembly and the COSD and set the agendas for their meetings on the proposal of the University President.

- Engineer, laureate of the École Polytechnique de Paris and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in 1969.
- Holder of a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Econometrics from the Sorbonne, Paris.
