The theses charter defines the reciprocal commitments of the doctoral student, their thesis director, the director of the Center for Doctoral Studies and the director of the UEMF Research Center which hosts the doctoral student. These commitments relate in particular to:
- the procedure for choosing the subject of the thesis;
- the working conditions necessary for the accomplishment and advancement of research work;
- supervision and monitoring;
- the rights and duties of the doctoral student;
- the conditions and modalities for extending the duration of the thesis.
The CEDoc undertakes to act to ensure that the principles of this charter are respected during the preparation of theses.
At the time of first registration, the doctoral student signs the text of this charter with the thesis director, the director of the CEDoc and the head of the doctoral student's host structure.
