Dialogue of cultures: A political question of the first order:
On the occasion of the 2nd International Conference on the dialogue of cultures and religions, organized in Fez from September 10 to 12, 2018, Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio underlined the importance of “a dialogue between people ”.
For the 2008 Nobel Prize in Literature, “ we must salute these translations and these languages which allow humans to communicate, meet and make themselves known ”.
This conference is in line with the key recommendations of the message addressed by HM the King to the participants, that of “laying the groundwork for the effective implementation of the Fez Process”. This is to “promote the values of tolerance , respect and positive interaction between religions, peoples and civilizations ”.
