The Euro-Mediterranean School of Architecture, Design, and Urban Planning (EMADU), an institution of the Euromed University of Fes, is a co-creation between the Euromed University of Fes and the University of Florence, with the involvement of the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD Paris). Its mission is to train Architects, Designers, Urban Planners, Landscape Architects, and specialists in Heritage conservation, particularly Euro-Mediterranean Heritage.
The School provides an innovative education that combines the skills of an architect and an engineer to train profiles capable of better contributing to the design and organization of the living space for the 21st-century citizen, in compliance with quality and environmental standards.
Our ambition is to train high-level executives capable of supporting major development projects and initiatives in the countries of the Euro-Mediterranean basin and in sub-Saharan Africa in the fields of Design, Architecture, Landscape, and Heritage Preservation.
Instruction is provided by UEMF faculty, partner universities, and professionals from the socio-economic sector.

The School provides an innovative education that combines the skills of an architect and an engineer to train profiles capable of better contributing to the design and organization of the living space for the 21st-century citizen, in compliance with quality and environmental standards.

Its ambition is to train high-level executives capable of supporting major development projects and initiatives in our country, in the Euro-Mediterranean basin countries, and in sub-Saharan Africa in the fields of Design, Architecture, Landscape, and Heritage Preservation.

Future graduates will be made aware of Euro-Mediterranean history and culture, the socio-economic challenges of the region, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

EMADU, due to its Euro-Mediterranean character and its location in the city of Fez, also has the unique and pioneering role of addressing the issues and strategic reflections related to the conservation of architectural and urban heritage in the Mediterranean region.
