As part of the Stevens Initiative Alumni Fellowship, Ms. Malak KHAYARI, a third-year architecture student at the Université Euromed de Fès, has been selected among the 24 fellows who will participate. This program is funded by the J. Christopher Stevens Virtual Exchange Initiative (JCSVEI) and supported by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
The Stevens Initiative is a global effort to build global competence for young people in the United States, the Middle East, and North Africa by expanding and improving virtual exchanges. It is an international, collaborative online learning experience, hosted by the Aspen Institute in Washington, DC.
Out of nearly 300 applicants, Ms. Malak KHAYARI stands out as one of the two Moroccans selected for this prestigious program.
During the Summit in Washington, DC last week, she actively participated and shared a community visit with her American teammate. This opportunity allowed her to refine her professional skills, share her experience as an Alumna Fellow in the field of virtual exchange, and build enriching connections with other participants.
We wish her success as she continues this exciting journey of learning and building connections that transcend borders, encouraging collaboration and mutual understanding.
