15 May 2025

From May 13 to 15, 2025, the Université Euromed de Fès hosted the second Bootcamp of the Tech4Farmers program, dedicated to supporting the AgriTech startups of the second cohort. Led by UEMF and supported by the French Development Agency (AFD), this program is part of the Regional AgriTech Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub (PRIE) of the Fès-Meknès region.

Over three days, the 16 selected startups received intensive coaching to structure their business model, refine their value proposition, and develop strategic connections with players in the agricultural sector.

Structuring the Business Model
The first day allowed project leaders to work on the three fundamental building blocks of the business model, to clearly define their value proposition, and to explore different monetization approaches. An inspiring talk by a guest entrepreneur punctuated this strategic session.

Business Plan & Partnerships
The second day featured a practical Business Plan building workshop, a session dedicated to corporate partnerships, followed by a panel of private players (Jodoor, Deepleaf, Domaines Zniber), who shared their vision and expectations for AgriTech startups. The day concluded with an interactive workshop on "The Art of Networking."

Territorial Anchoring and Outreach
On the final day, the startups participated in working groups focused on pilot projects and operational partnerships. A regional panel with the DRA Fès-Meknès, ENA Meknès, and Agrinova explored concrete opportunities for territorial deployment.

Mentored by experts from UEMF, IMPACT Lab, and EIC, this bootcamp enabled the second cohort to strengthen its capabilities and forge essential links for implementing AgriTech solutions suited to the realities of the Moroccan landscape.
